As the weeks tick by…

Published by ajennings at 2:45 pm under Posts from Me

So here we are, approaching week 5 of EFL 537, and I still feel like I can’t do anything with the damn computer! Oh, I’ve learned about some great tools and resources available to both me and my students, I’ve actually learned how to blog and post my thoughts through a microphone, but I still can’t make a website to save my butt! Call me slow, but I feel like I’ll never really “get there”. Does anyone else share my frustration?

And Jeff, I’m sorry if you’re reading this and asking yourself, “What am I doing wrong?” The answer is, Nothing! I swear it’s me! It’s a combination of not having enouch time as I’d need to really teach myself these things and just not having the right kind of brain. I am happy to be here- I just wish I felt fulfilled after each class rather than more confused :)

    Hello Audra,
I found your blog while looking at some things that Jeff Lebow posted about his class. I know Jeff from edtech talk and worldbridges. I saw your name on the class list and decided to see who you are. Did you ever live in Deerfield and do you have a brother, Peter. If so, I think I may have taught your brother in third grade. I am still a teacher in Deerfield.

What wonderful work you do to help English language students in Manchester. Keep up the good work.
